Geoff Gartly

GEOFF GARTLY, CA

Principal Accountant and Business Adviser

Geoff is a qualified Accountant with 20 years professional experience.  His particular talents are in the area of business planning, and driving innovation, growth and change.  Geoff is very well-known in the business community, and in 2011 was a finalist in the City of Glen Eira’s Citizen of the Year Awards.  He is a recent President and active member of the Bentleigh Moorabbin Central Rotary Club and has been closely involved in the founding of a Bendigo Community Bank in North Road, Ormond.

Geoff and his wife Vicki have a young family and Geoff is a Parent Representative on the children’s School Council. 

In his spare time (!!), Geoff enjoys golf and the occasional glass of fine wine.

Practice Accountant

Fiona is a professional Accountant with prodigious knowledge of taxation law.  Fiona loves the detailed work involved in ensuring that our clients achieve every legal deduction, while ensuring they meticulously comply with GST, PAYG, BAS, Capital Gains Tax and all State based tax statutes and requirements.  Our clients know that, with Fiona on their side, they have every detail of their business affairs attended to, so they can clearly see where their business stands and what decisions need to be made – and importantly, that they have nothing to worry about should their business be audited.

VICKI GARTLY

Administration Manager

The practice is very fortunate to have the services of Vicki Gartly to manage the fine details of practice administration.  Vicki is a local Kilvington girl, and before taking on leadership responsibilities at Gartly’s, she built a successful career in Channel 9 Television, where she held a creative role.  The meticulous attention to detail required in pre and post production of Channel 9’s shows, commercials and promotions transfer beautifully to our practice, which is totally committed to providing outstanding care to every detail of our clients’ accounting needs.

GREG DAVIES

Bookkeeper

Every accountancy practice needs a Greg Davies – someone who can be relied on to carefully attend to clients’ bookkeeping needs. Our clients tell us they value Greg’s ability to take the sometimes challenging data they provide and make up books that are accurate and ensure compliance with taxation and reporting regulations. Greg is a qualified Xero Consultant, a competent user of MYOB, Quickbooks and Quicken, as well as having experience in a number of our clients’ specialised accountancy packages.

Having been involved in the Scouting movement for more than 35 years (currently at State level), and also with Youth Connect, a local community organisation that bridges the gap for young people between school, university and employment, Greg is well-known as a skilled and dependable leader and motivator of adults, adolescents and children. Greg is a modest person, but we happen to know that over the years, he has earned a number of Achievement and Service Awards.
