Lodgement Dates for GST and BAS or business activity statements for 2011-2012 year

 

Please note for the September 2011 Quarter annual elections are made when choosing GST and PAYG I September quarterly election

Monthly Business Activity Statements are to be lodged and any required payments made 21 days after the end of the month. 

 

Quarterly Business Activity Statements and any required payments are to be made 28 days after the end of the quarter, except in the case of the December quarter, when businesses have until 28th February to lodge that quarter's statement. 

 

Lodgement dates for quarterly Business Activity Statements are as follows:

Unfair dismissal legislation - Fair Work

The "unfair dismissal legislation has been passed by both houses and will commence on July 1st this year

 

Your Tax bill can now be paid by credit card.

The tax office is conducting a pilot program to pay tax via card payments.

How much can you pay ?
Taxation payments from a minimum of $10 to a maximum of $10,000 can be made.
